now whenever i join a game it says database is out of sync and kicks me out

This generally happens when you've modified your CTP files beyond reasonable shape. If you don't have a backup copy of the original files, you'll have to reinstall ctp and apply all the patches subsequently.

use Theo government build many cities at start and remember that the only way to win is war .production/trade are the keys to the game
