Trans-Siberian Railway Completed, Kurkov Touts Russian Industriousness, Resourcefulness
President Kurkov laid the ceremonial final spike in the Trans-Siberian Railway, officially opening it for business. The railway, which connects the Russian nation from as far as Finland, through the cold reaches of Siberia, eventually coming to a stop in Vladivostok, is expected to be a boon too Russian efficiency and aid it's developing economy. While passengers will have to contend with a waterslide portion that is not technically served by the railway, Kurkov inaugurated the feat as the 19th Wonder of the World. A shorter Manchurian route connecting Siberia with Vladivostok more directly is expected to be built in the near future, perhaps by the time the "Caspian Rail Loop" is finished.
