The first turn is out to illiria, but if anyone thinks this map is unfair I will generate another.

I was almost certain I'd sent you a copy of the turn... here's hoping that illiria or somebody else still has their copy that they can forward to me to replay... my e-mail program deletes messages older than a month or two so I don't have a copy of what I sent anymore.

I am resigning. There is no real fun sitting 4 squares next to another human player.... and on the other side having a huge field of fungus to cross. Since it has been just 3 turns I suggest we start another game, OK?

sounds like maybe a bigger map? Say... I have a map entitled death on my computer... if we all share the opening picture what do you guys say we use that?

All I needed was one taker... here's the copy of the map... it's small as far as image size, but it'll still give the general idea... and we could also make the rule that if we meet up within the first ten turns that we're too close and should restart.

It makes for an interesting game (I've never played on it, myself) just because it has that one little waterway that every faction will want a peice of... a lot has to do with where you land, but a lot has to do with land-based tactics as well.

We'd have to, of course, limit everyone from NOT choosing the Pirates because they get an obvious tactical advantage.

To make it even more interesting we could limit the number of colony pods too... might as well give a unity survey since we've all seen the map...

What factions would everybody like to see on this map?

I'm tempted to try out Cult for myself... thoughts?

Looks good. I guess I would take Gaia or Hive. Are we taking few aliens or many? One colony pod will be fine, unity survey is OK, too. No blind research, look first, do or die.
