	Creating Royal Stone Interface - Feedback Required Put an end to popups!

Hey.

If you remember, some time ago I created Stone Interface 0.5e, and planned to expand it.

Several months, and several final exams later, here I am.


I have made several patterns, for use.

1 Stone - repetitive.
1 Marble - repetitive
1 Wood - repetitive (probably will use the filter to make on spot, instead)
1 Papyrus - repetitive (kinda ugly but still)
1 Shiney Metal - not repetitive, but large.
1 Wierd Metal Brass Thingie.

The thing I'm not pleased about is the popupandmenu background and the popupborder.

Now, at first I wanted to make them marble.

However, making a successfull marble popupborder is a b*tch.

So I made it stone, and I'm not satisfied.

I can make it papyrus but then it'll be ugly.

Help?

I think ya'll know what's wrong.

I'm asking for feedback about the first screen.

I'm also asking for advice, as to how to make the menuandpopup background to work.

Can you make the dark spots a bit lighter? Also, I think you need a way to make the edges of the tiles a bit less obvious. Other than those two things, I think it looks great.

Well - which edges do you notice?

The only problem I see is with the menu, and dose edges are friggin tough.

I think I'll do some decorating.

Ok, in the 'Preferences' picture, look at the 'T' in 'Always Wait of End of Turn'. That edge. Both pair of edges of each tile, the top/bottom and the left/right, have to be made so that the background flows seamlessly.

FrantzX - it looks like and edge - but it actually isn't.

Seriously.

The edge is somewhere under the word "Map"

I'll fix it though.

Go on on this work cause you make the best work I have seen. Moreover u are the only one who develop an interface that look great.

If u can post the files, I am really interrested by them.

Looks very good siro. The preferences screen is a bit dark IMHO.

yes but you have to make the interface with the screenshots you see here.

Look at my posts... look the dates. 3 months no answer so I think we have to do that. alone...
