Editing Mac-Civ III with Civ3Edit.exe Support Apolyton buy from Amazon

Would it be possible to use the PC editor to edit the Mac Civ III via, for instance, Virtual PC?

Has anyone tried?

Does Civ3Edit.exe come along with the PC patches? I haven't been able to find it on the net at least.
Where can I get it?

Yes, its being done. Check out the Civ3-MacIntosh thread at Civfanatics. There you'll find a couple fellas (like ferretloverdc) who are using virtualPC to edit Civ3 on the mac. There is no civedit w/ the mac version unfortunately. It is being developed by Westlake Interactive on OS X only (will be a free download).
