10 full turns in 11 days. That's not bad. A big game (8 nations) and limited number of players (4) with a fast turnaround.

Seems like the idea from Jpww - playing our 2 turns right after each other - is working all-right!.

Yes, I'm enjoying this set-up very much (except for the lousy map) so you're right, ricketyclik... one like this where each player is just allied with themself would be fun.

we learned our lesson as far as not having the mod-lite, now didn't we?

Sure, I'm game for it. Just as long as it's understood can only ally with yourself... while being peaceful with other nations is fine too...

Maybe even do some role-playing so that if one player's nation goes to war with another player's nation the other two nations have to be diplomatically brought in or else it'll be a one-on-one thing. (especially early on, this will be easy to organize.)

Maybe same turn set-up since we've proven that this one makes turns go by quickly, plus different order/colors so we don't get confused between the two different games.

NO-no Jpww (and turn to Ricketyclik).

Just looking if some want ONE more game based on the new concept: One player - two nations.

That concept should remove the dark-unsecure-feelings that you ally would backstab you, at the worst possible time (unless you are a total paranoia that is).

BTW, you know something is not quite right when you are given the choice to enact a new government and your options are Disband city or upd001.tga. Wacky captions?!

I get that a lot, jpww... what's annoying is when you don't make the right guess. In another game I just quit it on the spot before any units moved just to make sure I chose the option I actually wanted.
