I think you are talking about Aeson's monster openings.

Find his threads...

Not as effective post-1.21f though, as you can't get cities for renegotiating peace.

Got spare money?

I'm not too sure about that, I have no idea what the T in T_REX stands for.

REX is pretty simple. Just time a Settler to be built whenever a city reaches size 3.

Most Civs do a decent job at REX if used right, advantage to the Industrious and Expansionist ones though. Industrious civs don't have to waste as much time building workers, and get their terrain improvements done quick. Expansionists are more likely to get Settlers from huts, which can really speed things up.

T-REX would probably be the Americans on Standard+ sized maps.

If you mean demanding cities for peace treaty I've done that in 1.21. If not ignore this.

It's a bit different than negotiating peace after fighting a war. Basically you enter negotiations with a civ you are at peace with, renegotiate the peace treaty, and get lots of goodies from the AI.

Renegotiating peace treaties for cities can still be done, it's just much less effective. SirPleb over at CivFanatics figured out that you could get a little more for the peace treaties by actually canceling the treaty, then resigning (0 turn war). This method still works in 1.21f, though I don't think the AI will part with as much anymore.
