	With Admiral gone... Lose 30 kilos (of popups)

...is it at all possible the three of us could start up a game of our own? Maybe similar to Hot Barrens... or something completly different?

I just enjoying playing this game with human opponents and while I've got some other games running now as well, it'd be nice to stick with you guys too (since the turns go so quickly when we're up and running.)

I hate to cut Admiral out of the action, but I would like a fast moving one too.

Those settings sound good to me, just going to wait if wgabrie is still out there first... and you're right, I haven't seen SHB's turn flip over.

Is this a PBEM game? I've never played one before, but if you guys are willing to take on a newbie, I'm game. I'll be out of touch from July 19 - Aug 1, though.

Hmmm, kinda depends. Do you play with seven factions on a normal sized map? If so, I'll probably go with the Spartans. I'm not a big fan of any of the SMAX factions.

How fast does one of these games go? I just want to know up front how frequently you expect me to play my turns so I don't piss anyone off by taking too long.

All right... everything looks good.

I'll set up a game with these settings:
SMAX
Medium map, rocky, wet, few aliens
Directed research

We'll use the original SMAC factions however, because otherwise we'd have to do a lot of figuring out which ones were fair to use.
