oooh the painfully bright colors... As far as egyptian culture goes, we are playing as ancient egypt (hence the mediterranean culture graphics), and based on what i know (or think i know) I thought anything left of greek-influenced ancient egypt was overrun by arabian/islamic civilization. Hence egypt not being the middle eastern civ that it really should be (anyone else notice the egyptian hieroglyphs on the middle eastern palace that egypt doesnt get?).

Anyway, enough spam, flag good, anthem indifferent.

I just think neon green's pretty ugly, personally. Even my school flag has more respectable colours (green and white).

I like Civman's second adaptation of Uber's, with the darker green, although we should ditch the Communist stars until Apolytonia ("possibly," if you insist ) gets into communism. And Trip's flag should be saved for a republic.

Perhaps an adaptation of Britain's flag for Monarchy, and an adaptation of USA's or Canada's flag for Democracy? Are there any other government types?

Sure, why not a mess of bananas when in Anarchy...

Yellow - because that's our Civ color.

Banana - symbol

Black + Green = Supposedly egyptian colors (even though their flag has red and not green)

white - our democracy

stars - something.



Now there are several versions:

Red instead of yellow = war ensign.
Sky Blue instead of yellow = peace ensign.
Orange = victory ensign / Trade office
Grey = mourning ensign / Science office
Green = Military ensign / Defense office
Purple = Presidential ensign
(Turquise = Domestic office)
(Pink = Culture office)

Not only that, we were 'planted' () right in the middle of the jungle. The flag's feel is very tropical.
