They will continue random searches of 80-year-old women, little kids, airline pilots with proper identification, Secret Service agents who are members of the President's security detail and 85-year old Congressmen with metal hips.

They'll just use that profiling against us by recruiting people who lie outside that profile. Profiling is like saying - "HEY! TERRORISTS! DONT BE STUPID AND BREAK ONTO PLANES WITH 17-40 yr old ARAB MEN!"

Besides its hard to discriminate based on religion like you say. Not all Arabs are Muslims and vice versa.

But what's wrong with stopping all 17-40 year old Muslims at airports??? It's only the extermists that are problems and that's a small few... but, what's the problem checking out all - just because they are Muslims?? Would'nt they feel better boarding a plane also. Just because you're Muslim does not mean you'll mind any less when extermists blow up the plane you're on. And if you're Muslim and do not like it... well, stay home I guess. No one can deny that almost all of the terrorist acts that effect the US are committed by arabs. We cant check every individual entering this country. Therefore, profiling is a necessary evil in this case. It doesnt mean that nobody else should be checked though.

I can and will deny it. Most terrorist acts committed within the borders of the United States have been committed by white male Americans.

Maybe it's wrong... of course it is. But, if I'm sitting on a plane and 4 young muslim males board, I'm getting off. I mean, look what happened last time. Does that make me a bad person?! Yeah, there is something wrong with that but it's not my fault. I'm not saying they CAN'T fly - just not with me. And I'm the one willing to get off the plane. And I DO want to see them screened. Every single one of them. I have no problem going to the middle east and being screened myself - if I where to go to the middle east.

N E W Y O R K, June 20 — Police and fire officials in New York are being warned that terrorists may be trying to acquire surplus or replica emergency vehicles to use as car bombs that could be planted near government buildings or landmarks without drawing attention.

What you're saying here can easily be interpreted as meaning "Arabs don't belong in the U.S. They belong in the Middle East." (I'm assuming you mean Arabs instead of Muslims, since religion isn't something you can determine just by looking at a person.)

So what exactly constitutes a "normal American" for you? Can black people be on your plane? East Asian? Hispanic? Remember, the dirty bomb suspect is Hispanic. How about Indian? First Nations? Help me out here; I want to know what an American is.

If the last 10 years much terrorism has been caused by blonde 24 year old dutch men, I really wouldn't feel offended if they'll double check me at the airport.

As long as they 'll let me go through when all seems to be fine.

Okay, "effected," fine. I still say more terrorist acts that have "effected" the U.S. have not been committed by Muslims. Was the deadliest? Of course. But acts of domestic terrorism alone make the above list look puny. Let's make all muslims wear special arm bands so we can easily identify them, and if anything goes wrong we will know who to punish right away.

If that doesn't stop them from commiting terrorist acts, we could always round them all up and put them into ghettos and concentration camps. (maybe we could use the ones we built for the asians during WW2!)
