Sea Journal of Wang
Sea Date 3.4.1012
The Admiral's ships came into sight early this morning. We communicated through signals, and I read that I was to attempt to communicate with these city builders. I did so, and entered the port. There we learned they were a Meso-continental peoples, but one city of a great empire. But giving no maps, some of our salors disbelieved them, and boasted instead of our great empire, and of the great emporer over-seas. These infidels laughed and started slinging stones at us. We hastily retreated to the ship which took some damage. We signaled to the admiral who had stoped in Mulege to resupply earlier, of the insident. He signaled that we were to assault them early in the morning with him. He said he had ample marines to do the job.
Peasant Commander's Log
Earlier today the Cho Ku Nus arrived in camp. They were exhausted from their journey over the mountains, but were ready to kill for their lost general. I had always thought they were extremely arogant and boastful of their prowess on the battlefield, but this evening has proven me wrong. They charged the barbaric town, hitting them from all sides. But the barbarians did have a stockade up, and they were unable to enter. However, the enemy will not be able to stand much longer as they shall be shot, everyone of them, from their defenses in due time. The sky becomes dark when the Chu Ko Nu arrows fly. Some of my men have started calling it the black death from above. My our emperor have mercy on the barbarians' souls, for we will not!
