Whether this is official or not - please don't get your panties in a twist. No party politics here.

Just the single, pure, unadulterated save.

What do you think of me posting future savegames with the latest game report thread (so we don't have to top yet ANOTHER thread)?

EDIT: This is NOT the most recent save. One more turn has been played, with some developments (see eg the SMC report for 2900BC). Sorry, I am unable to post the new one here at the moment. So little has chnaged, tho', you can almost entirely rely on this one. New save will be here after the next play.

I think that someone should be responsible to post the game reports, and save file.

Or atleast sending the savefile to reporters. *hint*

As anyone is allowed to have the savegame, it's best if we don't have to ask Trip for it. He still hasn't sent it to me.

OK, great. Asked for it for sometime but did not receive it yet.
I fully agree with MWIA. Add the latest save to one op the threads topped. The latest game report sounds like a good place to that.

Sorry guys, too many people PM me, so my inbox gets full overnight and I think it's spitting some PMs out, but I'm not sure. I've got it completely cleared now (almost) so that shouldn't be a problem now. Let's just hope I don't get 30 more tonight.

I don't think some people are going to like that this was posted...

Oh? Sorry Trip - I PMed you about it but got no response.

I could use the list of everyone's email addresses, but far too many aren't on there.

Everyone put their emails in the list, and I'll send the save to the lot of you next time!

No one's on 24 hrs a day, and I foresee some ppl getting irritable if they don't receive the save within an hour or so of their request. That's why I posted it here.

What are the concerns, exactly, if we have voted to trust everyone with the save?

I, personally, appreciate the save. I do see how it could be abused though. As I didn't make the sunday chat, this will get me up to speed. Thanks.

Since that this save file has been posted publicly, I have no qualms about it being posted on the forum again in the future. Now that it is available, securing it to e-mail would be pointless, as a .sav of any year is sufficient to play ahead.

So I support the save file being posted publicly from now on . Just please do not play ahead, and if you do, don't let anyone know!!

I propose that anyone playing ahead and releasing the results should be expelled from the game.
