The Mumbles is a city in Wales. "The Mumbles" is only a nickname, btw. The real name is almost impossible to pronounce...

If it's in Wales, why is it in the English city list? For God's sake, why don't you have Glasgow and Aberdeen whilst you're at it? Grr...

I guess you fall within the English "shpere of influence". Consider yourself lucky... you're an honorary Brit.

Tired of ads?

The Mumbles is a small sea-side resort in Wales; whose holiday was it?

Of course, no place names in Wales are difficult to pronounce......

once you have learned the language Llanarmon Dyffryn Ceiriog just rolls off the tongue beautifully

Suffering from ads?

Wales is just a principality of England, where-as Scotland and Ireland were seperate nations, joined in Union with England.

Recently there have been many moves to change this, to give the Welsh more independance, but it still is treated very much as part of England.. much to the dislike of many welsh people.

However, if you have "The Mumbles", I can't understand why Cardiff, Swansea were not included before it .. sounds as though it was a bit of a joke at Firaxis. should have chosen "Wide Open" .. just north of Newcastle ..

Wales used to be its own nation. It was just subjugated by England long before Scotland or Ireland were part of the UK. Right?

dunk: am sure living in Philadelphia you get plenty of practice letting those fine names roll of your tongue.

Got lots of practice myself living there.
