	Civ2 Mulitplayer patch Lose 30 kilos (of popups)

I am from the UK and have (i believe) "Classic Civilisation 2 Multiplayer".. on the box it says something about the game now having 'multiplayer'. I want to play It online but cannot track down the patch I need for it. Ive searched so many sites but cannot seem to find a definitiver patch. Everyone is too vague! Please help me find the right update patch for it. I will provide you with anymore information that you need.

If you have the Civilization II ultimate classic collection

Then it already has multiplayer but you will need the 1.3 patch to fix some bugs and to be able to play anyone here.

You have the same bizarre variant that we had - your best bet is to get Julius' NoLimits patch - this takes you up to the latest patch 1.3 and fixes some overflow problems

no, i posted those links in different threads b/c its obvious people have no clue where to find things, i was the same way when i joined up here back in the day.

as for the post count, bah...i have 1 1/2 times more posts to reach deity, i have been here for 4 years now, so i doubt i am going to get there any time soon.

i dont' really post in the OTF, never have , never will.

I liike the civ2 forums, as i am looking for games, enjoy reading other peoples experiences, and i find that i am still learning new things about the game.

Although i can cream just about anyone in a game, i don't necessarily understand every intricate little detail the way some others do.

i also like to poke a little fun and just banter back in forth with the various different groups that post here.

if my posting offends you, my apologies....but i noticed you have made some remarks that have me shaking my head?

perhaps its too much wine and the mob mentality you have going tonite (there are two of you and only one of me )

Hmmmmmm we both seem to be in happier spirits tonite There has been a few girls around, but only one who helps me errect my Eiffel Tower
I am part French but i am not sure if i announce this or not

i need a good SP challenge! My computer has been letting me down via MP (connections ) at some point i will spend time figuring it out....

Can you suggest a great scenario/challenge game that a fellow Aggressive,Militaristic, Expansionistic, civver like myself might enjoy?

Warz - two thoughts spring to mind - LaFayette's minor nations challenge -- WW2 as the Turks etc - or join one of our Succession games - they can get really wild when you open the game and think wtf has everyone else been doing for 3000 years and how can I extricate us from the merde?

I never did find those hex games.......though i saw the thread with them again and will check it out for possible dl somewhere....

i tried off grokster and no one had them....same with the TOAW series and the link provided in the other games section doesn't seem to work for the free dl's

that all aside, after the weeekend i will have some more time to look and hopefully try

as for the post count, some of that is just friendly banter/spam chat in the forums early before work...

we were trying to hash out some new rule changes

Ok i will try again....did you have alot of fun with these games...are they worth my time ?? graphics are of no concern..gameplay is the issue here?

Warz - twas many an age ago - but has fond memories - how it will measure up to todays harsher realities I cannot say.
