I was stuck in Birmingham for three hours last night for reasons which have something to do with Aberystwyth and bad rail companies.

Just re-checked the website and the £17 pound return thing is the train from Stanstead to Liverpool St station.

The actual plane flight costs a minimum of £28 there and £49 back.

It would be fun to watch Paul Harrison make a fool of himself ( as depicted in photos ) but I don't have £80+ to spend on a day-trip right now... maybe another time.

Look on the bright side, I have to go to Aberystwyth sooner or later and when I do I'll stop by to say hi in person.

Suffering from ads?

You'd think it would be possible to get to Oxford from Porthmadog before 4:30am if you wanted to leave at say 3:30pm the previous day... but no.
