any news about the new Editor? Full PM-box? Change here!

Wasn't the editor supposed to be released in June? I expected to be able to download it this morning since yesterday was the last workday. Unfortunately it was not there.

Now I know some of the Firaxians called a release in June "tentative" and I prefer to wait if the editor is not yet perfect but is there any news about it?

O, I missed that. So that is why I could not find anything about it.

Do not see why we are not allowed to ask about it, though. It is the end of June so..... I hoped someone from Firaxis would give us a new date or so. As mentioned in the first post I do not mind waiting. But it would be nice to know for how long.

He closed it because there's about another 5 threads on the topic already (not counting this one here), and he's trying to slow the spam-fest.

As far as getting a date, they've said that once the beta-testing is complete, then it will be released. They probably know little more than us when it'll be finished... after all, do you think they said "June release date" just to screw with us?

OK, thanks Trip. I understand and will back off.

I don't think they are screwing with us at all. Just after the announcement the guys who had to build it already warned that June was tentative. So... to optimistic managent, I guess.
