I'm new to Civ:CTP, and its a pretty kew game. I've just recently managed to build the ComSat wonder, being told that I would have full radar access on the map, however after it was built, nothing of the sort happened.
In the small map at the bottem left there where still a number of black patches I hadn't explored yet. The fog of war was still active, and I couldn't see the other teams units.
Am I doing something wrong in the game or is it the games fault?

You don't have the patch, do you? The out of the box version has several buggy qualities. Update your game by getting the 1.2 patch. Globesat will work then.

If you don't have the patch, the globesat will only give you radar (you can see naval and aerial units on mini-mip represented by a dot)
