	Should Germany be forced to change its national anthem? Support Apolyton buy from Amazon

I can't believe that Germany has "Deutchland Uber Alles" as its national anthem. Every time I hear it I'm reminded of the 2 World Wars and sickened by that militaristic tune.

I think they should change it.

I think the German national anthem is just fine. And I don't think we have anything to worry about from Germany.

It is Australia we have to watch, forcing their tasteless culture onto our unsupecting teenagers in the form of these horrendous soap operas, brutally mistreating refugees why flee there thinking of it as a place of human rights etc. After their butchery of the rightful owners of the island - the Aboriginal natives - in unspeakable crimes against humanity maybe we should be imposing sanctions on them??

After Deutschland's excellent performance throughout the tournament (especially given their reputed poor form going in) they should keep their anthem just as it is. Most fitting IMO ...

Doh, come on, it's not a militaristic tune, in fact I think it's the most beautiful national anthem. They changed the "Deutschland über alles, über alles in der Welt" part long time ago...

It was originally composed for a military band in 1832. The words only came in 1922.
