	Is there a way to keep track of handle changes? Browse Apolyton AD-FREE

We used to have this. First it was Narck I believe who kept a log of posters who had changed handles, and then Ming continued it for some time.

It would be useful if we had something of that nature, now that there seems to be a rise in the number of name changes. It gets a bit confusing at times.

Yup, it's that easy, I've done it before, I PM'ed Ming, asked him if he could change Zopper into Zopperoni, and it was done the next day

Don't plan on changing your handle for awhile...


In the old days, when you change your own handle, a log was really needed. There were MANY changes.

But now, since you have to ask a Mod or Admin, not many are requested. We keep a log in the staff forum

Just to take the thread back to the original point...

I'd appreciate opinions on this matter, and hopefully an indication from the admins on whether a handle change log is useful/needed.

Edit: Oops, too slow on the keys apparently...

Ming, couldn't you post a copy of the log weekly or bi-weekly? Doesn't seem like it's too much work.

Hmmmm... I'm not sure how it can be so confusing. We have only had 13 name changes logged since we started doing so back on January 17th.

It would be useful to have a list people could see - and if there are only a few changes that shouldn't be too much work.

I've certainly lost track of who a few people are.

1. Poly seems really slow. Is it just me? (AOL or my computer?) Or is it slow for others?

2. Ming could you please "MTG ban" me? Let me get PM's but not surf? (If that's too much work than a regular ban will do.) Until October would be good. I'll bug you than if you don't remember...

I guess it's not hard to see that there are none . Obviously, if Markos hasn't replied here, the answer is "no". I might be wrong, but usually this is the case.
