	Some Help Needed Support Apolyton, buy GURPS/ Alpha Centauri

Well, i need some advice here. This is my first Monarch game, and right now the Persians have just declared war on me. I am more powerful than them, so the histogrraph says, however I don't want to fight them just yet. I have been stocking one of my cities with War Chariots and Knights to upgrade into Cavalry, and I am one tech away. I have attempted to get other civs to fight this war for me, however their prices are WAY to high.
(my reputation is sort of bad because I inadvertantly broke a ROP agreement with China a few tousand years ago.)

Here's the save, what do you reccomend me to do?

I can't check out the save (I'm at work), but what is "way too high?" Consider that, unless you can wipe out Persia quickly, they will most likely bring in allies. Anyone you can buy off will cease to be an option for the Persians to ally with.

RoP betrayal does horrible things to your reputation. Too bad about that. Not much you can do.

You're 1 tech from Military Tradition. Ok, fine, fight defensively (maybe bring some Knights up to the front to help out) until you have the tech for the upgrade. During this time, you should be able to engage (and hopefully defeat) the Persian attack force. Thus, when you counterattack with Cavalry, you will face minimal opposition.

	Increase Your PM Length

The problem is that the Persians are on another continent, and I have not built many naval units(I have been building a little).
Right now my plan is to pump out a few caravels to transport maybe 6-10 knights over.

	Increase the size of your Attachments

I would just work on your navy till you can upgrade your knights. You should be able to handle whatever they can bring over in their boats. It will also allow you to take more cavalry when you are ready.

After the Persians, I'm going to have to do something about the Greeks. They are making me nervous.

The price for one civ to fight with me (either France, Babylon or Greece) was all my gold, 130 gpt, dyes, and a world map.
