I agree Trevman. However I do not want us to continue to defy the Code of Laws, out of fear it may become a trend. So, if we shall follow the course of publicly posting saves, let us amend the CoL so that we are not defying our own rules .

It is a bit silly that we have to beg in order to get the save game. Probably just a function that the president devised to make himself feel important.

As long as people respect the rules, such as no playing ahead allowed. Too many " I told you so" will reveal this and allow frustrated citizens to vent their anger on carefully chosen targets. (No names mentioned)

Hey, it's not like I ever supported such a thing. You know how I loooooove having even more things to do here!

And there's really no way of knowing if and when people play ahead. Even playing along has caused plenty of problems as it is.

I have already been a victim of such spambot nonsense several times. Nothing like 1000 + emails from the same source.

Anyway, BOT, I agree I like having it available here, and have downloaded it a number of times to see how the game looks since the screenshots are good, but hard on the eyes.

I was just wondering, though. Is there any penalty for flouting the "don't play ahead" rule? We may need a Grand Inquisitor to punish the criminals among us.

Erm, may I remind you justice is listened only when it has ways to enforce laws ? We have no means to expell an ahead-player of the forum (or whatever : ruin him, kill him, send Ming at his home...)

Only things we could do would be to massively ignore an ahead-player, and to ban him from any governmental post for all eternity (we could also flame him on regular forums whenever we want). I don't think we'd need a judicial system for this. Maybe the VP would have to update the "black list" of black sheeps.

Flaming leads to more flaming. I would suspect that the person could be banned from the fora permanently. Esp. since the mods probably have IP logging capability.

Well, our court would be more of a judgement system than a punishment system. Someone deemed evil by the community would probably just present their case to Ming and handled that way. The court would be more of a decision-maker when two sides disagree on something.
