	please help. I need the originial non-mod ctp.exe Support Apolyton, buy Civilization III: Complete

either 1.0 or 1.2 will do. I installed a mod that modified my exe and gives me problems and i can't reinstall the game because the disk is scratched.

I want to play with the Medieval pack!!
Please help me!

You can easily get a 1.2 from this site (www.apolyton.net > ctp > download section).

I hope your cd is not too much scratched - if so you could still have trouble.

Or you can try gamecopyworld (http://maxtarget.com/gcw). You might find an exe there, which allows you to play without your cd.

Nope, that won't work either!
the problem is that i couldn't run the cTP 1.2 patche version on the corrupted file; and just now i tried installing the 1.21 hack over a fixed exe i got from gamecopy world and it says "unrecognized version in use" or something. The 'fixing' did work, however.
So now i'm stuck with a fixed exe but with no apolyton or Med Mod packs

Everyone around here knows that you can't possibly live without those...so please help!

Dragonlord, I am a little confused as to your situation. Do you need the 1.0 or 1.2 version? Or does the 1.2 version not work with your CD for some reason?
The email links are currently down, but I can try and post the needed exe (one *or* the other, I don't think I have have room for both) at my website.

Either 1.0 or 1.2 will do. The problem is with a mod i installed from another site corrupted the exe i had and can't reinstall cuz the setup file from the CD is messed up Playing the game is ok, but i have noticed some spinoffs with the music on, better take care of the CD from now on

Wes, i went to your website but the file is not in there yet. Please let me know whenever it's availiable.

Now that i think about it, i could use any exe other than mine as long as it is compatible with mods. However, i'd like to be able to choose what to install by having the original exe's. Yes Wes, that would include your great Med mod pack

The 1.0 exe is now up at my site, at the bottom. Once you get it, I would recommend you follow Don's setup steps in the Troubleshooting readme. Hop this does it for you.
