Amazing. I picked newbies and yet somehow I was always able to make it to number 1 in about 10 games. Now if I played newbies like you sloww, with about an 800 rating, the it would take me 40 games just to get to 2000, if I could even get to 2000 playing that low of a player. I always made sure to play the highest rated player I could find. Higher rate means higher points, higher points means less games needed to get to number 1. Higher rated players means more bragging rights and since I'm always into bragging rights playing against low rated players like yourself for competition would be useless. My problem was that the higher players always tried to dodge me. If the gameleague forums were still around you'd see that there were many threads started on game dodging.
