Communist Party of Apolytonia Support Apolyton, buy Galactic Civilizations: Deluxe Edition

I wish to propose the formation of the Communist Party of Apolytonia, with myself as first General Secretary.

I believe that territory and the management of it is paramount. I want to see lots of workers toiling at the soil to create strong infrastructure.

I beleive that war is important to its ends but that we should not over-extend ourselves to the point where we cannot defend our cities.

I beleive that we should aim towards a Communist style of government because of the benefits it brings in controlling a large empire and a large population.

Long way down the road mind but you gotta start somewhere

I thought that it would be the goal of the Communist party to bring other nations into their spheres of control. Force them to rule by the same manner as they did. You know that Stalin believed democracy was allowing the people to vote for the communist party. Therefore being very aggressive would be very appropriate, that is if you want to mimick Russian Communism. Of course if you intend to form a Communist regime based on the doctrine of Karl Marx, it will be a fundamentally different from the Russian one.

So what is it going to be, if you´re hoping to get any votes and support: Better clarify a couple of things.

Timeline - I think that, since none of your planes can reach space, they can't hurt me at all, not that they could anyway, as my shields could easily take all of your primitive missiles. Also, I'm 1.6 kilometers long. The longest carrier, the Nimitz class, is IIRC .4 kilometers long. Also, I can blow you up from orbit in about 2 seconds.

Pevonian - Yes, that's Vader's ISD from the asteroid belt scene in The Empire Strikes Back.

In real life, communism is something completely different than in civ! Anyone cared to read Marx? - Well, I did. (fell asleep a lot, though)

I am also a former neighbour to the Soviet Union, and many people here are commies... they despised Soviet! (clinging firmly to Mao's theories however.)

I advise you all to read som real political philosophy. It could prove quite useful in MOD-making!
