My video card got royally fried, so I don't currently have a PC, as it is in the shop for the next 1-2 days.

This means unless I get my PC back early tommorow, I wont be attending any turnchats or otherwise untill later this week (im guessing)

I leave it to anyone attending the turnchats (ministers or otherwise) to check the diplomacy screen in my place, and make the most democractic of decisions in my place. (I dont have a deputy ya know).

Dont expect me to be checking back untill I get my PC back tho. I am at my brothers, and that is how I am posting this.

Sounds like a great argument for ambassadors, if you ask me.
Ambassador with the most seniority could serve as deputy foreign minister when he/she is temporarily unable to play.

We need appointed backups, but not official ones. If a minister or his protoge isn't present at a turnchat, then his department is taken over by the President/others in the turnchat. That should be motivation enough to appoint some people.
