Mamluks. Suffering from ads?

Hi. That's my new map that I'm going to use for the scenario that I'm supposed to make, one about Mamluk Egypt since its start (or since the start of Baybar's reign) to either year 1277, when Baybars died, or to year 1291, the official end of Outremer, or perhaps to the fall of Arados if You want more time. Now I want You all to praise me for the map, and to help me decide on several things. You see, surely I'll use such civilisations as Egyptians, Latins (though I thought about making them barbarians), Muslims, Ilkhanate, Golden Horde, Byzantines. But I'm not sure about the seventh civ. I though about using hidden cities civ,
which could be Italian traders, or eastern christians. But I think that though that is a good idea for a byzantine scn, and it is a good thing for partisant scenarios, there is no need for it and it wouldn't be used as good as it could be.
Perhaps Turkish civ, then? Nubian? Or Georgian? or Ajjubid? Help me decide. Also, if someone has some good maps, especially concerning the territories on north of Caucasus and of Central Asia included in the map... Mongols destroyed so many cities there that I don't know which should I use in fact. A-ha. The scenario will feature some ideas like a modified (in fact, the first one) version of event recruitement system that You perhaps know from Komnen scn of mine... It will be something more here, though.

The idea, perhaps I wrote it in Komnen readme, but here it goes again; in Egypt, You get mamluk traders,
(destroyed after attacking able to attack "air" units, but weak, very weak), which You must transport
through Bosphor (land way is blocked by hostile Ilkhanate) , by mamluk trading ships (carry air) to the shores of Caucasus, there there are barbarian units (whatever I call them), very very weak in defense, that, after being killed by You (and only mamluk traders will be able to do it;
mamluk recruits are able to attack air units too, and are much stronger, so that they could "kill" too stromg for mamluk traiders training camp, but they shall be air units with limited range that would be unwise of You to use for this purpose, especially that they shall be needed in Egypt), Now, You must transport mamluk recruit back to Egypt, where, by killing "training place", You'll be able to have a new, great mamluk unit. Of course, You'll be able to build military units yourself, and pretty good, unlike in Komnenai, but to stop Mongols and think about capturing heavily fortified cities of Outremer, You'll need to recruit some of these very valuable units.
Also, by that recruitement thing, as in reality You'll have
to have good relationships with Byzantines and Golden Horde. Note; I may make it easier by just giving You mamluk recruits in Caucasus, but also then, You'll have to
gain their sympathy, and the scenario starts when the ilkhanate and Golden Horde weren't fighting with each other - yet.
you'll start with Egypt only, which shall be very annoying,
as I'll introduce some important terrain changes which shall make Egypt very profitable, but not at all productive
province. Your goal shall be to capture Syria and repeal
Ilkhanate Mongol attacks on it, drive Nubians out of Egypt, and Latins out of Syrian coast Perhaps also to liberate Anatoly, which Baybars wanted to do.

Some advices?
And if someone wants to playtest or co-operate, I would
be very happy.
If You think that it's a hopeless idea for a scenario, eventually I could make a diadoch scn instead perhaps?
The map would be OK too, I guess...
But please hurry... I have some month or 1,5 for making it.
Later, when I'll have to come back to that %%!@^((^\]
Warsaw, I'm not sure if I'll have a computer.

Heresson, what format is the file 'arabstep'? It's not in any recognizable format, for me at least.

Lose 30 kilos (of popups)

It unzipped fine. It just wasn't a map file (.MP).

Rename it to "arabstep.mp"... (You'd better post it as a zip, not everyone has a program to open RARs... You can edit the post and update the attachment)

The map looks great (as you already know), but you still have to change the glacier strip at the top.

I think I'd go with a Nubian civ. There are so many civs up North already, so any other civilizations there can probably be represented by barbarians. Putting in the Nubians will make it a little more populated in Africa (since the map extends so far South).

One mistake after another. Somehow I attached the old, unfinished version. It's all Your fault! It can't be mine.
Anyway here is the hopefully right this time file.
In "compressed folder" If it won't open, I'll post it as a rar file again.
