Chapter 1


It was a cooler day than most this summer, lately temps in the 100’s had swept across DC.
“Mister President, the ambassador is here.” an aid whispered to Lincoln in his oval office. Lincoln prepared some briefs for the Roman ambassador and turned up the Oval office AC.
“Very well, lets try to hammer this one out as well.” Lincoln replied. The Roman ambassador was a small man, no larger than Mrs. Lincoln.
“Well, mister ambassador, I'm going to get straight to the point. Why does the Roman Republic wish to antagonize the peaceful Greeks into a war?”
“We want no such war, at leased to my knowledge mister president.”
“Then how do you explain these?” Lincoln said as he handed the ambassador a vanilla envelope. “Now I’d like to hear an explanation for these photos.”

It was muggy and miserable in Crete at the UN base, General Powell sweated and looked on at the polluted horizon.
“Damn Romans need some pollution controls.” he mumbled to himself.
“Sir do you think those photos taken by Langley will affect us?” Lieutenant James asked.
“Honestly I don't know, I just need you and your Delta Force to keep up the Intel or we could pull the world into a big mess that no ones gonna be left to clean up.”
“ Sir a Captain...um.....Rolli is here to see you, he is from the Greek Spec Ops team.” a private said as the Greek walked in. The man was sweating heavily and breathing hard.
“Captain what's wrong?” Powell asked with a frown.
“See...gasp.....General Sparticolli....a..s..a..p.” the Captain struggled to get out of his chest.
“Lieutenant”
“Yes sir?”
“Get me choppered down to the Greek command center in Sparta”
“Yes sir”

more/continue please/ - (plus - there are some typos in there; ie. 'coppered' down to the Greek command center? IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE!)

Chapter 2

ring ring ring ring
A shiver went thru Lincolns body and it was not because of the AC. It was the red phone from the Pentagon ringing.
“Hello?”
“Mr. President, this is Swartzkoff, we have a developing situation on our hands. About 20 minutes ago General Powell was on his way to Sparta on some sort of emergency, well I’m sorry to say, but his craft was shot down by a ship which we suspect to be Roman.”
“How can you tell it was Roman”
“Because the Romans are in the process of cutting France, Persia and Babylon all in two and they are nearing Cairo in Egypt.”
“When did it start?”
“We can’t be sure but our boys in Crete and Iceland are ready to mobilize on your command”
“OK, Do what you think is best and I’ll call Rome.”
“Will do Mr. President” The general then hung up. Lincoln was in a state of disbelief, as long as Rome had not yet implemented the M-Program the military time to think. He picked up the phone to the Roman palace.
“Hello Mr. President!” Caesar said in an enthusiastic voice.
“Don’t play innocent now I want some answers and I want some answers now! We know about your project and you know once you violate the UN arms resolution of 1973 that the whole world will be against you!”
“Well Lincoln, nice Intel but it is a little to late for your speech there, because as soon as you make a move I’ll call them and give them the a-OK to go.” There was a pause, then it came to Lincoln, STAR WARS!
“To further give warning, I am working out a deal with Hiawatha to keep you in line. Good day.” and Caesar hung up. Lincoln thought he was going to have a heart attack, well he could count on STAR WARS, thank god Reagan thought of it. He was about to phone the Pentagon when he felt a rumbling coming from the east.

Swartzkoff yelled, “I want every police station in the major cities to start profiling any Roman immigrants, have them seal off all major buildings to the public and evacuate DC!!! Come on now we’ve got **** hitting the fan now lets MOVE!” He was yelling so loud he barely heard the white house phone ringing.
“Hello?”
“Norman we’ve had a suicide bomber.”
“How?”
“We’re still trying to figure that out but I’m moving to NORAD until this is over.”
“Watch the Iroquois and bring everyone but Crete and Iceland back to the Mainland”
“Will do sir”

Chapter 3


“Hold the paper mill!!!!” the dirt stained corporal yelled. A loud roar of men followed as the 110th Army Reserve prepared for the Iroquois charge in this small town in Michigan.
“HERE THEY COME!!!” yelled a private.

“Sir?” the advisor tried to get the presidents attention, for the president was in a daze.
“Yes, I’m sorry Paul I’ve been uneasy the past few hours.”
“Mr. President, the Aztecs have helped us repel the Iroquois invasion of the Caribbean and we have held our positions in Michigan.”
“Very well and what of our Roman counterparts?”
“Umm, sir, any treaty signed right now is out the window pretty much. The Zulu are helping the Iroquois and Romans crush Egypt and all the Asian nations are massively building up their borders in case of a Roman invasion. Rome has now taken all of France, Babylon, and Persia. I also regret to inform you that the British Isles are in Roman hands and Mr. Blair was executed. The Iroquois overran Greenland but our troops in Iceland have held nicely and the UN forces in Crete are secretly reinforcing a Greek resistance.
“ So much in such little time is disturbing Paul, thank god one of our nuclear small-arms took out the M-Project in that raid, otherwise the Romans would have even more of an advantage.”
“Sir, what was M anyway?
“M was a project that involved the Romans setting up a nuclear missile silo on the moon.”
“However in a Stealth bombing raid today we destroyed their shuttle base. Right sir?
“Right, but I am so very tired from the days events wake me from my quarters when news has changed.”
“Will do sir”

“Deploy every damn recon plane you have General Hitchcock, we need those birds to find us a weakness in the invasion of them damn fool redskins” Swartzkoff yelled at the Air Force secretary.
Hitchcock replied, “Don’t forget to call the FBI later to get the scoop on the immigrants.”
“Sir Sir Sir!!!” An aid came running down, “We found a weakness, near Otsego Michigan, they have charged again and again, that cut them down enough for an attack and they wont be getting reinforced for while since our Air Force is constantly harassing their supply lines!”
“Great, go tell General Garrison to send in the 10th mountain division and get on the horn to ask the Aztecs to aid us in the 2nd plan, by god if Macarthur beat Hitler there then we can beat the Roman Axis there!” the General shouted to the aid.

Chapter 4: The end



Lincoln was sitting at his makeshift office at NORAD when the aid came running in.
“Sir Sir!!!!”
“What, What?!”
“We have found out from one of the Roman terrorist that we should expect Nuclear sabotage soon, but that is all we know.”
“What kind?”
“We dunno sir.” And in a brilliant flash the Cheyenne mountain was gone. Every major military installation and major city was detonated simultaneously by Caesar. It was by cowardly terror attacks and operations that the Iroquois and Romans ended Democracy and the free world. Sure, underground resistance has formed to fight the 2 superpowers, but it is useless, eventually the world was thrown into nuclear apocalypse and holocaust when the super nations met head on. The year is now 2057 and I pass this tale down to you for posterity, please have hope that humanity may someday be fully restored to every corner of our beloved planet.
