Interesting unique units...

As far as I can tell, five unique units for the Aztecs and Japanese. This is the Japanese unique unit the Bushi or something like that. It seems to be a lot of unique units but I guess they are trying to give unique units at various times in history to make it balanced.

So from I can gather the Japanese will have basically two unique lines:
1) Ashigaru Spearmen
2) Bushi, Elite Bushi, Samurai, Gun Samurai

The Aztecs also have two lines
1) Atl-Atl, Royal Atl-Atl, Xopilli Atl-Alt
2) Jaguar Infantry, Jaguar Assault Infantry

So each get 5 unique units in total spread throughout the ages as upgrades and in two lines.

This kind of introduction reminds me of the introduction of Civ3. I've never played any RTS and wonder if this will be the first one.

Gamespot did this kind of thing for AOK and AOKTC.
