Winning with Med Mod 4 Avatar Enlargement: We've got the solution

Is anyone having any luck against the AI using Med Mod 4? It seems like I get clocked every game I play. I just never seem to be able to catch up. Been playing king and emperor.

How are you beating the AI? I usually play the largest map size, raging hordes of barbarians, average goods, and the water and island setting is just to off of center towards water and island.

I am beginning to feel dumb listening to all of you.

I am in the middle of a successful Medmod game. By the modern age, I had passed all the other civs except one sciencewise. The, I sent 3 spies over there to steal advances. It worked perfectly. Now I'm way ahead of him.
