	Order of the Banana Put an end to popups!

We should set up an honorary award, for people who made extraordinary contributions to this game. Call it the "Order of the Banana."
A 2/3's vote on a poll would be needed to make an award. (We shouldn't give these things out like candy.)
We could make our Historian responsible for drafting up the wording of a given award (along the lines of an honorary degree award given by a university).
Examples of potential early recipients would be:
1) Snoopy, for contributions graphic. (Maybe he'd be willing to whip up a medal design. )
2) Sir Ralph, for War Academy insights ...
and so on

(I suggest sitting ministers not be elegible -- as valuable as their contributions may be, they're just doing their jobs.)

I suggest that the duty of nomination be given solely to the Apolyton Court

oh.. and i suggest some minister ARE allowed to win the award.

a good SMC( who valiantly wins a war against odds?), a very hard working FAM (who puts us far ahead threw tech trade and such)...

just ideas.

they should be allowed, but only AFTER they are in office. i would not second a honour for any official still sitting in their office.
as long as they have their job, its their DUTY to serve as good as possible.

Like astronomers and having stars named after them people should only get the award after they are dead.

But seriously perhaps after each term of office the pres could give out an honours list where one person is given the order of the banana and perhaps a few lesser awards like the "mje" or member of the jungle empire or the "round table" award for contribution to democracy.
