That's the extremely tiny one with the circle, right? I wasn't going to do that one because I don't recall anybody else doing that one in other complete leaderhead mods. But, I'll make it just for you Don't you feel special?

I'll reply to this thread with that PCX as an attachment so you don't have to download the whole thing again.

BTW, that one is the image that shows who has what wonder and what-not right?

	Increase the size of your Attachments

In use I don't notice it missing, so I am not sure where it is used. The AI is probably looking at it and I might never see it as I am playing the Americans. My original comment was based on a first look. It looks great in the game as well.

Since your pretty much the expert on these leaderheads, what are the conditions for using the different pcx's?

AB_all.pcx is used for the Foreign Diplomacy Screen.
AB_CULTB.pcx is used for ????
AmericansSMALL.pcx is used for ????
AmericansLARGE.pcx is used for ????
AB_SMALL.pcx is used for ????
AB.pcx is used for ????
AB_CONQ.pcx is used for end of game screen if race is not the human player and has been eliminated.
AB_CONQ_L.pcx is used for end of game screen if race is the human player and has been eliminated.
AB_CULT.pcx is used for end of game screen if the race is not the human player and is enthralled by your culture.
AB_ANG.pcx is used for end of game screen if the computer player hates you.
AB_SHAP.pcx is used for end of game screen and the race is not the human player.
AB_HAP.pcx is used for end of game screen and the race is the human player.
AB_KIS.pcx is used for end of game screen if race is the human player and the computer player is enthralled by your culture.

Master? I'm the padawan to your jedi, Ghengis. And you knew more about those PCX's then I did, too. I just made them cause they were there, trusting that the game actually uses them. Although I do know that AmericansSmall.pcx and AmericansLarge.pcx is used for the Civilopedia descriptions of the civ.

It's cool to see you here. I didn't think I'd ever join Apolyton but CivFanatics is down... still.

I think CFC died, and is on life support cause I ain't never seen a site go down this long.
All the people interested in my leaderheads were over there and now I can't get any feedback on them!

Did you look at my new flics after I reRendered them with the new light settings? They look more cartoonish(so, unfortunately they don't match up with the original Firaxis ones that well) but I kinda like them better (there at my website now).

Note, please don't criticise my crappy website. I have VERY little html programming skills.

BTW, I REALLY like Ike!(coulda been his campaign slogan for the second term although they woulda needed bigger buttons)

I think CFC needs to put up a warning page, like one of those t-shirts they give to heart-attack survivors explaining what to do if they have another one.

Usually they're down for only 2 to 4 hours, but it's been over 24 now. We could legally report Thunderfall missing to the police now... imagine "Have you seen me?" on milk cartons with his avatar as a photo?

CFC better not die. All 69 of my unanimated leaderheads were being hosted there, and I just deleted them off my computer until I could organize all my files! I still have the units I made, but I was intrusting CFC to host them... doh!

BTW, Leadermate of the month is brilliant

I never thought so many people would email me about that base Elf Princess, but after I started working on posting her before the clothes were added I had a thought about doing a monthly Playboy type post. LMAO! Hurry up? That Guerilla Tactics Mod is going to take a looooong time to complete, especially with the LACK of time I have available. I'm going to start working on the Civilopedia and PediaIcons next... and just pray that somebody makes a Gaucho and Bandierante unit before I have to.

But, that's all I need to do for the Guerilla Tactics mod. It's completely ready to play as far as game-play and everything *PLUG*PLUG*

I'm going to do some stuff on Poser tonight just to get a feel for it. The first time I used it I was like a fish out of water. I would twist that guys body in such akward positions you wouldn't even believe... AND I WAS JUST TRYING TO TURN HIS HEAD! *ARRRGH*

Two comments:
1) Your new best friend with Poser will be pose files. You just click the pose file and the figure assumes that pose. Then you tweak it for a more accurate pose.

2) Use the dials on the right to move and position the figure. DON'T grab the body parts and move them. I made this mistake when I got it, but fortunately someone showed me the light!

I wont criticize your crappy website if you don’t criticize my crappy website! (The website looked good. No errors, but you may want to post a privacy policy to get rid of that ugly red icon in IE.) Actually it’s your application server that sucks! Those units looked great, too bad I couldn’t download them. I have some bandwidth to spare, and the only times my site has been down in the past six months was when I pushed the envelope with the check into the glove compartment with the ticket I just got and forgot to mail it. (They believed it, why don’t you? I was back up within ten minutes of my phone call.)

Anyhow, if you can’t find a better host when you finish your mod let me know, I might be able to help you out. Like I said, I have the bandwidth and space is not an issue. Besides, your mod is almost “ Floridian” in spirit. (Conch Republic at least…)

Thanks for letting me know, Ghengis. The pic is working now. CFC is working now so I'll start posting back on there with the Poser stuff

miccofl, actually I think you've got the two of us mixed up. Ghengis is the one that's just learning HTML, and I'm the one who is the webmaster making the Guerilla Tactics mod. I've been using HTML for 8 years.

The units couldn't download because they are hosted on CivFanatics.com which was down for over a day (it's back up so you can download them now). But yes, the GT website is pretty bad so when the final version comes out I'm going to redo it. I threw it together in about an hour.

Are you talking about my crappy website or are you talking about sween32's? Cause his is nice and polished looking!

Guys Guys Guys, Webspace for the taking, Find an 'advertsiting' website like angelfire at lycos or 27meg.com , make a simple html that shows your pictures, Nothing fancy, but keeps the site moderators happy, and link the pictures to your "actual" website via the address . Most sites offer 10Mg some 20Mg, I've heard of a 45Mg site, but cannot find my original links to that one.

Each site has its way of advertising on the local html, but not on other html.

Find enough sites and you'll have as much space as you need.

I have 100MB so I'm set. Angelfire is still around? That's how I started back in '94. They had a simple sheet for signing up to chose what colors you wanted and what links, but to edit it you were forced to learn HTML. Brilliant. They should still do that, instead of that stupid easy editor they came out with a few years back.

Unfortunately, a zip file of one my complete leaderhead sets with all 8 .flc's, pcx's, and diplomacy dialogue is sized 19-26 Mb. So, I would only be able to upload one at any given time . Also, most of those sites have a maximum single file upload size smaller than that of CivFanatics.

But that's okay cuz I'm willing to pay $5-9 a month for a little over 5 Gigabytes of upload space.

Ooooopps! Although it really doesn’t matter, facetious (thanks spell check) just doesn’t come through in the printed form. I viewed all our sites and none of them suck! (HTML skills notwithstanding – I use Dreamweaver shhhhhhh!)
And Ghengis, could you do anything about that domestic advisor? It would be cool to see an overhang while she offers to… Never mind there might be kiddies here. Glad you're back up sween32, I'm going to try out your units in my next game, and the offer still stands - no ads, unless you want one.

I already don't have ads on my site. The ones I do, I put there myself to make money. I use the Value Premium package at Freeservers.com.

Ike is working great so far, ancient – industrial. I will probably enter modern times tonight or tomorrow night. Unfortunately given my playing style I don’t look to see the other leaders wearing “I like Ike” buttons to the victory screen.

Modern times now… Working well (but tacky khaki?) It’s going to be a few days before I see the victory screen, I only allowed for a conquest win. If you would like a screen shot let me know.

a screen shot of the victory screen would be great! i'm sure i could use it. so, there's no transparency problems for the happy diplomacy images?

the happy modern age ike is the original painting that i based him around, so he's wearing the khaki because he did. i believe that painting was made when he was a general, though. but i think that's for the better, because he would probably stay one forever if he could. thus, thru the other era's he's more of a soldier then a great leader of a civilization.

The picture you see on your diplomacy screen is Ike when he's happy, because you are playing as him. If you were playing against him and were at war, it would show him mad.
