Several items of concern need to be addressed with the French.
First, we have dispatched numerous warships into the North Sea as a show of strength. The british would like to know what interest Napolean has for blockading Stavenger(Norwegian coast) and having troop transports within range of initiating a land assault. We were under the impression that Norway was considered a british protectorate in dealings with previous leaderships. A strong french naval presence in this sea especially as far north and as close to our coast as a couple of your ships have wandered is intolerable. We just don't see anything of vital or strategic interest warranting a french presence.
Second, an invasion barge directly within striking distance of London will from here on be considered an act of war and will be sunk if detected. There is plenty of manuevering room in the channel but we feel this is just a blatant show of agression and as I'm sure you can understand will be dealt with. Negotiations regarding exceptable conduct in these waters could use a once-over.
Third, we consider Valetta(small island south of Sicily) to be a crucial weigh station for our trading interests in the mediterranean. We've noticed a number of bomb ketches and troops heading that way... if they are in support of your campaign on the italian peninsula that would be acceptable, but a clear understanding of your intentions would be appreciated. Such naked aggression against Denmark and Rome without a proper dialogue with parties involved could use further addressing. This incident has left the whole continent a little uneasy.
We wish to continue good relations with France... some of our merchants have even expressed a desire for trade there. We only wish to bring about the above concerns to address them and prevent a misunderstanding.

As an aside... any vessels in and around Irish/British waters other than the french in the channel, at this time will be sunk. The acception being trading vessels... providing their intent is given in advance.

meeting obligations... Hannover is ready, Brunswick requires one more turn in order to rearrange troops. Hamburg will take several more... due to lack of transports in the area. Figueira in Portugal is ready.

I have been in charge of France for I believe all of this game, and I said to no one that Norway was to be in Britain's sphere of influence. Now that my troops are already there it seems too late for Britain to make that suggestion.

No invasion barges have ever left French waters and never will. If "striking distance of London" includes squares alongside the shore of FRANCE, then we will take issue with that.

I am looking at my map as we speak, and with the exception of one East Indiaman bearing Merchants, there are no French ships anywhere near La Valetta. If you consider 8 squares from the island (where our bomb ketches are) dangerously close, then we take issue with that too. Britain does not own the Mediterranean, and we do not have to explain the intentions of every movement to her.

Lose 30 kilos (of popups)

You propped up a map regarding "spheres of influence" Norway was in Britain's domain... granted it was a couple of hands down ago... myself being the third to handle a haphazard mess of a country. But I am going to maintain my point... you have no business there. I don't think going to blows over a lousy coast is necessary but I will make a stand... I don't want you in the North Sea period or have any influence on Norwegian affairs.

The channel needs some going over... there was an invasion barge at (41,65) two clicks from london. I have no idea what you have stacked up in there. I see the one on top of the stack though and it makes me nervous. They are extremely effective when positioned well... which they just might be.

The mediterranean is by no means mine... but the east indiaman was a bit close and I had no idea what was in it. Just wanted it to be known that i know it's there... and i'd like to be advised of what might be perceived as potential threat on my part in and around my area of interest.

While they have no true obligation too, French forces will withdraw from Stavanger.

As for the Channel, 41,65 is French waters as much as it is British, and we have no obligation to report the contents of ships there.

Note from the Russian Ambasador to the British Foriegn Minister:

Rostock and Stralsund Liberated

German forces have taken the cities of Rostock and Stralsund. His Majesty Kaiser Frederick Wilhelm III was so confident in his Garde du Corps ability to eliminate the Swedish swine that he led them into battle himself...barely escaping with his life. Though the battle was won the Garde took heavy casualities, including the wounding of His Majesty. As a result of his injuries he has appointed Baron von Chokenblatt Chancellor to carry out all his usual duties.

Non-Agression Pact/Trade Agreement Made

The Chancellor was ecstatic to announce a new Non-Agression Pact with France and Russia. Furthermore France, Russia and Prussia have agreed there will be free trade between the three greatest powers in Europe and no trade between the three and any other nation merchants from other nations will be escorted to the border should they wander into French, Russian or Prussian territory.

Brunswick Taken

The Chancellor personally oversaw the transfer of Brunswick from English to Prussian hands. A parade was held in his honour by the happy Germans reunited with their homeland.

Chancellor Expresses Concern

The Chancellor has expressed his concern over statements made by the British Foreign Minister. In particular he was concerned about this statement: "I don't want you (Napoleon) in the North Sea period or have any influence on Norwegian affairs." the Chancellor expressed that he felt the same way about the English being in the North Sea and Norway specifically. He is quoted as saying "Norway is closer to Prussia than England linguistically, culturally, morally and soon will be physically as Prussian troops will occupy the cities they have been invited to by Norwegian nobility. An English presence in Norway is not welcome anymore than I would imagine a Prussian presence would be in Ireland." he went on to say "Prussia looks most unfavourably on English attempts to impose their will on the rest of Europe.".

Taking Brunswick after asking for one more turn... I hold your concerns with little regard. What was agreed upon was between us and the french and doesn't concern you. I'm beginning to think the "little emperor" actually resides in berlin. You have a way with words though.

I agreed that the Prussians could take Brunswick (it was mine so it was my call), but our ambassador to Berlin is issuing a firm reprimand for Prussia's early capture of the city, apparently an incompetent Prussian commander wasn't aware that they were supposed to wait a turn.

don't worry about it... i'll still feel the same way. It offered a nifty way to rebut your claims to Norway... which is...well... somewhat amusing in itself.
Ignaminiously getting booted off the continent by a supposed ally doesn't bode well...

I know... water under the bridge. What is troublesome is Prussia speaking on behalf of both Russia and France regarding trade... when I believe it was Russia who implored you to open your own borders to trade a few posts ago... this was after you made bold overtures regarding troops on the border of Austria. Now your going 'poodle' on me... no offense France. I'm not sure how deep your alliance goes, you seem to be the only one enthusiastic about it. We have made arrangements, and since you claim such cozy relations, I would expect you to honor them.

Well I don't understand what "poodle" means here but I spoke for France and Russia because starting with my turn the agreement went into effect and I was told I should announce it on the thread. Besides this I never made any agreement with England so I don't understand the whining, I'm doing what's best for Prussia, not England.

The king of Spain urges Britain to come down and not push France too far. We just would like to remind King George what happened to his country (France troops in Britain ). I'm sure he doesn't want to see this again. This time Spanish soldiers will march with the French and Napoleon and King Ferdinand will dine in the Buckingham palace .

Also Spain would like to draw your attention to the fact that we are the country with the longest tradition. Spain was on the height of it's power when others were nothing else than a funny little island full of farmers or didn't even existed. So for future issues kings should settle their matters peacefully and bring their claims to the Spanish Emperor. We will investigate the matter and decide on the base of facts. The countries (and we use this term very loosely) shall trust in the wisdom and the experience gained by Spain in centuries when asking for a decision. Spain will take the place as the most important country in the world back and you all have to recognize the long lasting tradition of this fine country. We can only laugh when some kings try to label their possessions as a state when they are nothing else as a bunch of small duchies thrown together and this whole construct isn't even ONE century old when Spain had seen many of them.

We dictated the science, architectural styles, the exploration of new worlds, the military fields, the fashion,... for centuries. We build colonies in America when the rest of the world didn't even know of this new continent.

So to bring my speech to the end:
The court of Madrid is opened and we await all claims being brought before them if it's in Scandinavia, Russia or anywhere else as Spain is the most established world power and has the right and the duty to create peace in Europe. Spain’s sphere of influence is the whole world and no other country can match with us in case of tradition and wisdom therefore it's legitimate that we take the role of world mediator. When only one country think they have a longer history than we they can have the role but there isn't any. So pay attention to the most wise King Ferdinand and the greatest colonial power of all time:
!!SPAIN!!

I suppose whining is fair.... "poodle" is simply a term of endearment... conjuring an image of a yippy little dog... though tenaciously protective can easily be kicked aside. Prussia is not on the North Sea... and should tend to it's own affairs being currently engaged in a war with Sweden. It seems that what is best for Prussia would be to concentrate it's effort there and kindly butt- out of what Britain and France agreed upon was in their best interest.
If this new pact with France and Russia does restrict trade we find that most unfortunate, but of course will abide. However, no trade will be permitted with Britain either... gotta keep the books balanced you know.

We respect Spain's opinions in world affairs and welcome Spain's gesture to mediate in the future.

The Prussian Foreign Ministry would like to express its wish that Spain would be allowed to join France, Russia and Prussia in free trade, of course Spain would then have to stop trading with England and Austria. Furthermore while Prussia doesn't border the North Sea it soon will border Norway via Sweden and does not want a land border with England. While Norway may not be incorporated into Prussia the Chancellor does not wish to see it swallowed by the British Empire.

Moved units towards the Swedish and Constantinople front.

Moved trade around heading for Western Europe.

Wondering what the Austrians are up to I noticed a lot of Troop movements around Bucharest, does the Hapsburg Regime want to offer an explanation?
