Prussia will remain nuetral in the war between the French and the English.

Prussia does not want war with any nations but she go to war to preserve the peace. So if anyone starts a war then expect the full wrath of Prussia.

All traders are welcome in Prussia. Any other units spotted in the vicinity of any Prussian city will be considered as an act of war.

Prussia suggests that a conference should be set up so that we can partition the lower counties.

The cities of Rostock, Copenhagen, Kassel, Ulm, Oldenburg and Munich are all in Prussias interests, therefore if any of these are attacked Prussia will percieve this as an act of war. Prussia is open to negotiations if anyone disagrees with these reasonable suggestions.

Well here we go.

The British Admiralty is proud to announce that the Royal Navy today opened successfully the battle of the sea by destroying a French Naval Vessel (they refused to stop and let British inspectors on board so we had no other choice as sinking them fortunately we were able to rescue almost the complete crew and they were so delighted about the fine treatment they immediately joined the ranks of the British navy) and a Frigate. The whole French population will recognize as these sailors did we are not fighting a war against France but only against a megalomaniac madman.

Furthermore the British government backs the Prussian request of a conference in dividing the countries peacefully as there is no need in waging a war for some minor nations. We already have a warmongerer in Europe and we think we don't need a second one . We would like to announce that Norway, Reykjavik, Tripoli and Tunis are under the official protection of the British Empire and attempts to capture them will result in an immediate declaration of war.

Ok started the game on Prince (Major).

Wow this is hot stuff. I started my first PBEM and dudes began to cheat already. Well I hope in this round no-one is able to create such a program (admit it ) Hmm what are our possibilities now concerning the new situation?

And now for the real reason for the post: don't worry too much about cheaters: there are some, but most of the guys around here are nice and honest, just wanting to have fun in a good game!! At least that's what I noticed in the 4-5 pbems I have been in up to now... And a cheater will always be caught and thrown out...

I'm in 9 Boney games over on CFC, so I'm definetly going to take an interest in this game IMO this is the best PBEM scenario ever.

Sorry to shock Cyrion here, but I support Britain on the grounds that it was about this time that the British government started to transport my ancestors to Tasmania

As for cheaters: As Cyrion said, don't worry too much about it. 99% of people would never dream of cheating, and while cheating is easy, it's also fairly easy to spot if you keep your eyes open.

Nevertheless we have to wait because of some cheating. So than we should hand over Austria to the AI or try to find somebody? I don't think they are too important in this game so we can let the AI handle it, what do you think about it?

I fear we might not be able to fill all positions with humans as I'm trying to get a scen on the road for at least 8 days now (perhaps I just picked the wrong scens but I thought GBN and Imperialism are suited for E-mail gaming because all positions are roughly equal and playable moreover in my opinion these two are the best scens ever created).

But ok we can wait and try to find some players as Stormbringer is away anyway.
