No real suggestions... though I'll suggest on downloading and starting the game with Keygen's mod... does one have to use a world map as a scenario? Who was it that started the Face of the Earth game? That would probably be the best person to ask.

yeh If you put costum maps in the scenerio file it doesnt show up on the scenerio screen to be picked. It works withai games Kegan.

Flame, when you have downloaded ZAZ's world map from 'poly, you need to unzip it (i recall) and then store it in the save games file in the CtP folders. Then, when you load up CtP, go to the load game icon, and click on World8. then you'll get all the options you get on a random map. I am not sure of how to load this as a PBEM game, but you could try putting it in the scenario folder.

This may not be what you wanted, but that's what I got.

The annoying thing about Keygen's mod is that you can't load it with any other scenario, nor the Map Editor.

Geoffrey, make sure you've got the 1.2 update installed and preferably hack 1.21.

When you make sure of that open the two readme documents which explain everything on how to cerate or load scenarios

2F, if you intent to join that game I would advice you not to create the scenario yourself otherwise you will have the knowledge of the other's starting location. Unless of cource you are thinking of sending a copy to all participants so they may know those locations too. But that would result to a limitted initial joy due to the lack of unknown

I can create the scenario/map for you but if there is someone else interested I would prefer if he would take the job

Thanks, Keygen... we'll see if there is more interest in another FoE game prior to doing any thought of setting it up. I just know how much fun I'm having watching the current one play out.

Sure 2F

You should take a look at the "World Scenario" game, another game based on the world map and in a quite advanced stage. Diplomacy and role playing has been stalled for a while but it is one the best games ever played. I say if someone haven't played on the world map he should because it's a great experience. But once you play it it's quite unlikely that you will play it again at list sortly

The main problem with World Maps is they arn't rewarding enough. Actually this is quite a challenge. On world maps, I like to be the Russians (loads of forests) or Egypt (get all of Africa to yourself if you block the Suez)

Kegan I have the hack but my versiopn of the game is the Essential colectionwitch already has 1.2 on it carnt find anything about saveing scinerios . Ive worked out how to lode maps and creat maps now but still carnt do scinerios. and only for ai games. thanks for your advice guys. Redbull not as bad as NZ
