To answer the question...

A is a reference to the number of posts you have made. It fits into a logarithmic fornula rounded down to the nearest whole number.

HP is a reference to the percentage of the way you are to reaching the next level of A.

M and D mean something, but I forget, because it is all rather uninteresting. Something to do with how long and how often you post.

I think it is based on the number of days you have posted.

Posting once a day will give you a better M than someone who posts twice every other day.

Well, post stats worth nothing as they are, but I'm wondering if someone can add a SMAC or CIV III unit label and icon that fit into the poster stats (probably adjusted and rounded a bit).

So, instead of a meaningless group of number, I can be rated as a warrior, a musketeer, a tank...

I think we should be have the AD&D stats beside our username. These numbers would be entered by the member upon registration and other members could vote them up and down depending upon the quality of their posting.

For when you implement it, I am:

A bit late to respond on this subject, but that's what I'm still about to do.

First of all I can't see any good reason for this new rating system. Is really so cool to get a value on how active you are? It think the old good posts per day would have been good enough, but apparently not. During absence some good changes have been made like the quick reply option and easier logon procedure and registration. Although that My Apoltyon title is a bit missleading but I'll leave it. Why on Earth should Poly be ruined with a quite, yes; bloody useless feature that doesn't benefit any of the more average users?

Sounds very negative, but I still see clue with this. Wasn't there anything better to upgrade? At least one thing was found by me. Editing messages doesn't work properly now. You get most of the time an error page (the standard Poly error notification page).
