1. Why isn't there a search facility on these boards? Like this site, www.danimation.com uses the ubb forum software, and that allows you to search. If I could search, I (probably) wouldn't have to ask the next question.

2. Is there any documentation anywhere that tells me what the *cheats* are that you can type in the Chat window. For example, Keygen tells me that you can type /attach or /detach to switch the AI on and off for humans in a PBEM game. Are there any other commands like this?

1) Check the topright corner of the main forum page and all forum summary pages.

2) There are very little or even no cheats possible here. Just some stuff for debugging and loading maps. To cheat you can use the map editor.

1) Searching... Sometimes I look and look and look, but I just don't see Thanks for putting me right.
2) *Cheats*. If Keygen is right about typing /attach, /detach in the chat window, there are some things you can do. You certainly cannot use the editor to attach and detach PBEM players and replace them with AI. Or can you? In fact, once a PBEM game has started, can you use the editor?

WEll, frankly I don't know much about PBEM at all, but I don't think any of what you describe is possible. I'm not sayint you can't do anything with the chat window but if you want to add units or gold or whatever, or some other 'classical' cheats, you'll have to do it with the editor...
