How to destroy too much big cities ... Enter the AD-FREE zone

I've find an (okay maybesome hardcore) way to destroy big cities you wan't anymore...

First you must have the ecotopia gouvernement. Then have a forester unit.

You must sell all building wich make people happy. And put all artist at work .

Now the city will certainly riot (it's work always with me....). Then when you cities revolt and become barbarian ... you can send the forester destroy her.
I did it several time on big cities (>15) I've captured that were ill-located (I didn't destroy them when I captured them because I did'nt have any forester)...

It's more fast and green than starving the cities...

That seems to be a very production-intensive way just to destroy an extra city. Ecotopia already has such a low production.

Why not, instead, set the production to gold and move all the workers to scientists (or some other similar strategy)? The city will soon starve and you get some research out of it.

Not to mention you don't waste production on building ecorangers that are very expensive.

Why would you want to destroy your cities in the first place?

Support Apolyton, buy Civilization: The Boardgame

If you have reached the governmental limit of 120 cities, you might need to get rid of some to prevent unhappiness. Of course, disbanding small cities is the way to start, and if you need to get rid of size 15 cities you should have won the game
