There was what appears to be a Civ-type attachment, but I deleted it on sight as my anti-virus software is at least a year out of date and I've always found ruthless attachment deletion the best method of avoiding grief.

If any admins are reading, would they check out his registration? If anyone's received the map and he turns out not to be a virus-spreading gimp, how about doing something with it.

i recieved a mail from him with his map three times today...

there is no Lord Nelson on the members list or anyone registered with either the mail he signs with or the one that he mailed me from

the file is a .bic one though

i'll try it at home

It wouldn't hurt, but AV only works against known viruses. It would seem like a lot of work to spread a virus, but then again I think it would be a lot of work to create one.

Hopefully, you can track his IP if it is a virus and turn him over to the authorities.

Why he mailed it to me is anyone's guess, particularly the part about contacting civ3.com. I can only assume he's found about the fact that I'm blackmailing Sid.
