Not to mention the ar*seholes who did my car over the other night. Parked in the street outside the house. They took out the driver's window, ripped the ignition out of the steering column and tried to hot-wire it. They were only stopped by the immobiliser system that prevents the car being started without the key. The NRMA guy, who came out to check it over for me, said they'd almost got around the immobiliser system too. They must have been disturbed. They were at least semi-professionals. In taking out the driver's window, they must have spread an adhesive sheet over the window before breaking it, because there were only half a dozen glass fragments in the car and on the ground.

Thank God for insurance. The damage is in the thousands of dollars.

Hydey - I potted up the stricken bay. I'm not sure that I went big enough, though. How big d'you reckon it needs?
