	National Anthem Nomination Thread Lose 30 kilos (of popups)

Quite a few weeks ago, we tried deciding on an anthem. Well, I posted a poll and it went quite well...until the last day. On that day, no-anthem people voted for no anthem, and were stuck without an anthem.

Because of our recent victories over the evil Americans, I feel that we need a national anthem! We cannot raise our flag and not sing, as that does not inspire our troops!!!

So, now is the time to nomiate songs and lyrics that we wish to become the national anthem of the great Apolytonian Empire!!!!

I nominate the sound of the Chinese, Soviet, Egyptian, and North Korean anthems! of course.

Im sorry to be different, but I must nominate "Welcome to the Jungle" by the band, i believe but i may be mistaking, G&R.

Its a great hard rock song, for those who aren't familiar. I just thought of it cause, if i were on the front line in the battle, I would of been to the American soldiers like, 'welcome to the jungle, b1tch!" as i thrust my sword into their chest.

In the next few days i'll see if i can post some lyrics, i have the song, but i dunno what their saying. Its like, "welcome to the jungle, we got fun and games" and then something.

I love Timeline's. Just one thing - our flag isn't crimson . Unless you're talking about our war flag, that is.

Oh, and also, lines 3 and 5 in verse 2 don't rhyme.

Um quick point the Soviet anthem works but one pointer our flag I believe is not in fact crimson it more of mixture of mainly teal and white-May I suggest we ammend the lyrics to fit this.

i downloaded the soviet anthem shortly after i saw 'the hunt for red october' a couple of years ago. I like it alot, even though it was in russian. i dont really listen to lyrics anyway, just the music. The song, with like marching soldiers and parading tanks and tactical missiles, can really send chills down your spine. However, i must stick to my nomination of 'Welcome to the Jungle', which i have confirmed to be by G&R.
