It started out as a code meaning "-Jrabbit and Rah going to Ming's every Friday and drinking all his beer." Rah usually plays Civ2 MP online while Ming and I (and other friends) do some ritual board-gaming, sports-watching, music listening, and/or pinball playing. It's been going on for years.

...and Barone O is a frequentl online player in Rah's game.

BTW, there is also a Liverpool Chapter of the FNSGS, populated by the Scouse Gits (as recently revealed in a succession game I'm playing with them on the Civ2 General forum).

Now you know all there is to know on the topic. Surprised it didn't ring a bell, cuz it's mentioned most every week on the "Setting Up IP Games" thread in the Civ2 MP forum, and I know you appear there from time to time...

Couldn't we at least damage the #2 Civ in the world to preserve our place at the top? The last report I saw, showed them tracking our power fairly well.

Good offense makes good defense. If we don't get into their faces in their backyard, they come looking for us in ours....

I'm not advocating total war (wow, I NEVER thought I'd say that!) as that's not the objective of this game. If we take over at least one or two of their cities on their home continent then to a significant degree we choose the battleground location on which they can waste their energies - cities where we have strong units well stacked. If we don't we'll be fighting skirmishes on lots of fronts late in the game, in cities where we want to focus not on defensive units, but on spaceship components.

yep, you can consider yourself new citizen of our little empire.

The only thing you still have to do is sign up in the civgroups -> C2D.(IIRC you need this to be able to vote...or is this feature not added?I don't know anymore)
