The Love Conquers game finished today, as I've just completed the Alien Life Project.

This brings a peaceful conclusion to a game that was anything but peaceful!

Thanks, guys. It's true...so many PBEM games seem to just peter out, but the players in this game really hung in there (well, at least some of them!!!)

I think it might be the second game won by the Alien life project. I seem to remember Paul posting that he had won the same way.

BTW, it took 234 turns to finish, in a little over two years!

There was also my ALP victory in Demos' Semi Acc game that ended about a year ago.

Rick was instrumental in helping me to victory in that game just as much as we agreed to end this game with a science victory - I was only two turns behind, having difficulty finding the wormhole despite having met all the criteria (I still think Rick would have just pipped me on the same turn!).

I did have a comprehensive plan to storm all of Greece's likely X-Lab locations the turn before the end - but I am a man of my word!

You're absolutely right! You did win the Demos Semi-Acc game by a ALP victory! Actually, you were so far ahead of everyone in that game that you could have won any way you wanted!

I don't know how I could have forgot that, but I'll chalk it up to my having entered my dotage!

And when I saw Paul post earlier that he'd won a game by an ALP victory, I didn't remember about the Semi-Acc game either, or I would have pointed that out.

And while you may have contemplated attacking, you are too honourable to break a treaty, for which you must be commended.

But I guess I ought to commend myself too, as I didn't attack you, either!!

Ok here is the scoup most moderators are not reporting their games. I for one will start to report games I am in I encourage everyone that wants the ranking to do the same.

Next I think it is time to purge the current system of inactive players. A few of us here would like to be ranked so here is what I am going to do. Starting with all games reported by this weekend and or players that take on reporting games they are in will be kept in the rankings. The rest will be dumped.

It will be a short list but an active one for sure. If the games are not on the ninth turn so be it just report the games you are in and that will keep you ON the list.

Everyone agree with that?

Blackice, there needs to be a clear divide between ranked and non-ranked. I suggest you make a post with all games which should be ranked.

I'm in BulletProof and OCC. Thats it I think.

SuperLeague games probably won't be ranked, but I'll come back to you on that. It may be ranked in that the Pair which come 1st get the 1st *9, 2nd Team are like being 2nd at the *9 etc.

Its not feasible to do all of the *9 Rankings for all of the games.
