QUESTION: Why can't i enact Theocracy?? Support Apolyton buy from Amazon

I'm playing in Swissy's Accelerated PBEM game, have discovered Theocracy, changed government type only to emerge from anarchy to tyranny! I try to enact Theocracy, but when i close the window, it tells me i'm changing to tyranny! AGAIN!!

I'm playing on diety (which may conceivably have something to do with it), so with tyranny (indispersed with anarchy) my research is shithouse!! Maybe i could research Monarchy and covert to that, but i have no guarantees that that will work any better either.

He-eeelllppp!!!! Puh-lease! I don't think my brave warriors are much of a match for leviathans

Anytime you change governments you go into Anarchy first. In the US PBEM gave I emerged from Anarchy after two turns. It could be a function of the Deity setting or just pbem in general.

Everything is resolved. I swear that it told me that it was going to emerge from anarchy to tyranny, but miraculously, when it emerged from anarchy i got the theocracy that i asked for.

Oh well, i guess we just put that down to being yet another bug in the game, albeit one that has noreal implication on the game.
