I got an idea, I am not sure if it's a good one. But how about creating a couple more games. Maybe that way we would all play a little more often. While one game is in one time zone, the others will be in another.
Name them game 1,2,and 3.
I don't know, just a thought.

Agreed Don - I am going to start a PBEM game with players in the same time zone - or at least the same country. Indianapolis, Indiana here(EDT not EST) - email me if interested - also going to start a new string. Using players from the same region will allow for playing multiple turns in a day occasionally.

I have not given up on this game yet Actually, it was working quite nicely except for the glich with Lung(which he explained) and now the dreaded stall with Steve. Is there a Steve? Why no response from him? Does he know to post on this board Monkey?

Don, for multiple games i don't mind having more than one PBEM at the same time, but i suggest that not all of them shall be with the same players, maybe mixing the ones from monekey's first game with some of here and perhaps there are also some other players who would like to be in PBEM. This might be a good idea to prevent 2 things:
1. if one of the games gets stuck for a longer period (some days, which might occur from time to time) some of the others still can roll on.
2. if there are several games with the same players, diplomacy could get a bit multiversal, e.g. if you stop your wonder in game no.3 so that i can finish it, i will give you some sciences in game no.5 or something like that.

I like that multiple PBEM idea. Blue Max you host one, I'm sure there are many more players out there wishing to PBEM...

Did all players get their first turn earlier than their expected times?... that could be the cause of the little glitch in timing with Lung. I remembered I sent out my turn to Blue Max the night before instead of waiting for my morning turn...

I'm keen to be in any other PBEM games, but my timezone may not suit most. I'm in eastern Australia i.e. 18 hours ahead of L.A.

Monkey may be interested, but i doubt if i can get eight Aussies. Then again, why not have less than eight human players with the rest being made up of AI players, if at all? This would mean less waiting between turns.
