Aaaarrggghh!!!! Saved game failed!!!

When opening my turn i received the following message -

"Load Game Error"
"980424-JRL-015 - The size of the save game is incorrect"

Confuzer, can you re-send the game, or do you need to replay your turn before re-sending it?? I tried rebooting my computer and so on, to no avail.

Confuzer, if all else fails, just replay your turn and set me to AI for turn 17. I can come back for the next turn.

I don't have an answer to your problem. Thats a new one for me. I had a save problem awhile ago, I just reloaded and replayed and it saved.
Did you email confuzer?
It might be awhile before he comes back and checks this thread. I really think if you need to communicate with people, do it through email. Like attaching an ai, etc etc
I dont think people really read half these posts anyway. Which I have noticed has caused some delays.

Wow,....sorry guys. I didn't realize I held up the game. I resent the turn to Lung. My apologies to everyone. I'll try and hit the forum more often to catch problems before I set us back so far again. Really am very sorry.

I didn't mean to rattle anybodys cage, but I see a problem and just wanted to point it out. It's just that if we need to say something specific to somebody, we should use email as well as posting it here. I think some people only read the very last posts and miss info posted previous to that.

Woo-hoo!! This time it worked. Weird, the game looked like it was going to crash at the very end of opening the game, but finally opended without any more problems.

My only suggestion is that if this happens again, then the preceding player replay their turn, but do something different so as not to trigger the crash.

But for now the game goes on

Now i read the thread, and it seems much has been said since i last looked!

I did email Confuzer, but didn't expect him to look up the messageboard or even his email for 24hrs when he could expect his turn. This is fine for me as i generally only check it at the same time each day due to access limitations, etc.

Anyway, my joy at it working was overshadowed by an increasing fear of being stuck on a goddamned island, as it is starting to look suspiciously so

Yes, there seem to be some problems with posts not showing up. I just read in the topics list that the last post was today at 15:38 but the last post I see is Zaphod's post from yesterday.
