	Posts per hour? Support Apolyton buy from Amazon

Is there anyway of getting stats on how many posts are made during a given time span. It would be interesting to see the stats on which hours of the day are the busiest, and also what day of the week is busiest.

I always find Sundays really slow, and Saturday night/Sunday morning ~12-3am quite frantic for posts.

About posts/hour: It's quite unnecessary information for members. Admins might have use for that, but I sure don't.

Most stats are considered "unnecessary", but they are still interesting.

It would be kinda of nice to know when peak times were. Then you could post previews right before and have a better chance of getting quick feedback.

The column by Dan might give you some idea. Stats are not trivial in this case, they show the tremendous success this site has had which in turn is a reflection of the enormous work behind the scenes.!

Well, I actually post from work since I have free time there I rarely post from home and on the weekends I spent with my wife or actually playing Civ and/or other games.

I guess if there was a general ban of the use of the internet during work those numbers will drop dramatically!

Yes, get everyone to post at the same time! Probably if we do, some other forum on the other side of the virtual world will crash or something like that. It's chaos theory, or something.

And I do post less on weekends because there's more on TV and things to do during the day. I often spend time between lectures trolling . . . oops, I mean posting . . . on Apolyton.

In the last couple weeks I did have some problems going into the Forums, it kept telling me that there are too many users! Has anybody else notice this? It was actually no problem since I after a couple tries I got a place in Apolyton too!

Yeah, I've noticed that too. But after refreshing 1 or two times it usually works again..

At a .79 posts per day rate, I doubt you would win. Ming has over 11 posts a day but he has been here since the beginning. Got to imagine that there is someone here a shorter time with more posts. Probably AH would have more except for countless PCRs. But there is little chance that you have the most posts per hour.
