	Question for Coracle Support Apolyton or Terrorists Win

You always blame Soren Johnson for the concept of culture and culture flipping in Civ III. My question is 'Why blame Soren?'. All Soren does is write AI, not make design decisions.

OK, let's all blame Jeff Briggs, Firaxis head honcho who is always talking about his sales instead of the quality of his games as if we are Infogrames stockholders.

Someone is to blame.

And I think we are all entitled to know who concocted this CF stuff, why they did, what they were trying to accomplish, and why they disregarded history and reality. CF makes it imposible to have meaningful historcal scenarios (want all your tanks to vanish in a WW II flip?).

My thought:
I am convinced SOMEONE (or everyone) at Firaxis had a PC Leftist idea about playing down the military aspect and pushing "culture", and what they finally came up with was poorly developed and badly implemented. besides being antithetical to History, and NOT in the tradition of the Civilization series. No one ever asked for this on the forums, not in over five years of discussions. So why do we have it??
