	Newbies Unite Support Apolyton, buy Call to Power 2

The idea for this game is to start out some newbies (myself included) on a PBEM game. I am also hoping that we can get one or two vetrans to join us to give us a little guidance.

Please post to confirm that you want to play and give input on the settings that you would prefer.

I would like to use Keygens mod though It speeds up the start.

A moderator is also a good idea to keep the game going.

A ranked game would be nice do you want to be ranked?

count me in too. This will be my first game with some here. So far I have only played a friend of mine. I want to learn new strategies and play anyone who wants to play, any settings. Just please include me. Does that sound whiney? sorry

Blackice: If I understand it right only the starter of the game has to have the mod. If that is right maybe you could start the game when it's time.

One more game certainly wouldn't be too bad... A kick-butt player veteran (blackice) mixed with a moderate to sucky veteran (myself) pluse newbies and maybe another moderate veteran would certainly make for an interesting game.

Sweeeet. I just beat diety. It would be cool to play something a little different. let me know when and where and I would love to play. any rules, whatever. I just want to get my feet wet.

If I count correctly, we have six players which sounds like a good number to start.

What are the effects (or does it even matter) of the level setting in MP? If it matters then I would suggest a middle of the road setting.

I would like to play as France.

Does anyone have a preference of a random map over the map of the earth or vica-versa?

As for a moderator, does it need to be someone who's not active in the game or can it be one of the players?

Moderator needs to be a seperate person than that of a player...

Native Americans for me, please.

Depending on what nations are taken is how I would want to wait and see if we should do a map of the world or a random map... if our starting locations (no point in playing on an Earth map if the starting locations are random) are too close together per civ then there might be some problems early-game.

The level setting does have some say in the speed of tech discovered and happiness I beleive.

I was just thinking one more new player has hit the scene. He posted in the recruitment center. Why not have an all newbie game? I could get it started and moderate the game for you?

It does sound better, no doubt, blackice... though do I still count as a newbie?

Haven't been active overly long, and still haven't climbed to the top ranking in any of my games... *sighs* That probably means I just suck...

Hang in there I was in the same place when I started my first newbie game. Ok time is getting short for me today so more on this tomorrow from me anyway.

i'm in haven't been active that long either, if you need another player.
anybody interested in may be a one on one, i started one with geoff oh a month ago and we are at turn 101 now. just a learning game to try out different stratergies
after reading about them in the strategie guide,which by the way has a lot to say even wadding through the spam.

I am sure one of the players have or are trying to save and capture the best info on that thread.

stranglylucid until recently with closed circuit games you will find most here are no different than me. We encourage people to pick up the ball and run with it.

That is the reason for the success here at Apolyton Pbem CTP games. I kid you not, in a few weeks you too will be starting games. Ask any questions what so ever people be it strategies or technical and someone will help you.

The idea here is to learn and have fun so dig in play hard and learn some things. Get better help out and kick some butt

I will have the entire week as of tomorrow (barring work) to help and get this game going. I am availible any night after nine est. for online gaming also.

One thing you people have to see is it is summer. Things here slow down a bit.

None the less we still have people here to help and to move things along.
