	UNIT: Viet Cong Support Apolyton

Here's Charlie Junior.

All I really did was take the Marine, replace the green of his uniform to black and added the straw pointy hat.

you should seriously think about making a pointy straw-hat bomber. It adds character to the unit. Perhaps you could add mustaches to bombers too? That would do wonders in my games.

hmmm... that sounds interesting. I wouldnt mind my home taking on a third reich theme, complete with red swatztika banners, statues of eagles with swatztikas in their talons, a phonagraph playing Nazi march music, a Tiger tank turret coffee table would be neat, and of course nazi gold. You cant have hitleresque furnishings without Nazi gold or paintings...

Maybe I should take the marine, make his uniform and sleaves an olive green, and add the hat I used for the Guerillero. Since the PTW Guerilla is going to be light infantry, I'm sure people will want one with an AK47. It would be good for Cuba's Partisan UU in my GT mod.

It's possible, that since everyone recently downloaded the patch, that they are busy playing the game right now. You can only install units before you start.

And all the creative types are probably rushing scenario/mod, units and other stuff trying to meet Friday's deadline.

Oh, I don't care about that anymore. It's doing ok on Civfanatics and that's where everybody goes to get units.

His comment on it being the perfect modern guerilla got me thinking about making a modern Guerilla without the pointy hat so it can be used by everybody.

aww... the pointy hat gives it character. I want to give certain civs like china and russia a special 'conscript unit'. But instead of drafting these, they can be built real cheaply (therefore quickly). They have only mediocre attack and defense and movement, and have a hit point penalty like regular conscripts. This would be a good chinese conscript unit, and if I ever get around to making a veitnam scenario as I hope to eventually, this again would be perfect for that.
