Hi Guys.

I've got real problems with attaching the AI to Demos. I attach him OK play my turn and then hit END and the game crashes and brings my machine down with it! I've now tried this three times and it is the same result.
Any ideas?

Hmmm what error message did you get? are you running Dutcheese mod right now? I don't think you should since all new units have been destoried.
try to run the game without dutch's files in the main gamedata directory.

If you figure out the problem, make sure that you post it here so all of us will be aware of what to do, and if we need to change anything on our setups.

Currently, 3 games are having problems, and I think it is due to different file setups on different systems. We may have to all have a standard setup to avoid problems such as these in the future.

Unfortunately I am in a difficult position here. Anyone who has looked at my profile will be aware that I am a student. Also, most people will be aware that it is almost christmas. For me, that means travelling to the other end of the UK for 3 weeks, whereupon I will not have access to either the internet, or to CTP.

So you see, I have a problem. I do not want you to stop playing if you intend to carry on playing over christmas, however, I do not want everyone to get miffed with me for not playing myself and allowing the AI to run the show.

So, unless anyone has any suggestions I'm afraid that as of Saturday December 18th I will be unavailable to play, up unitl (sorry guys) January 10th next millenium (or next year if you believe the millenium is being celebrated early).

If the game has not made it to me be Saturday Decamber 18th, please set me to AI, and have a merry christmas and a happy new year.

Sorry to be a pain guys, I don't see what else I can do.

We will remember you Demosthenes if per chance You are lost in the time you have left us.

I ready the postes by Demos and so I tried to AI his turn and the game crashed. but I could run his turn. so it looks like Demos will need a replacement which unless you get a real bad one should be better than the AI anyway.
